A retainer is a nice way of saying that you pay up front for an allotted amount of attorney time prior to an attorney taking your case, or being "retained." The requested retainer will depend on the type of case and the complexity of the issues, and your retainer can be quoted to you at the time of your initial phone consultation with Mike.
A Contingency Fee is an agreement with the attorney that they will receive a fee based on a percentage of funds recovered on your behalf. We institute a Contingency Fee Agreement in Personal Injury cases and some collection matters depending on the circumstances.

We assist clients through the often confusing process after an auto accident or personal injury incident. We are here to ensure that you are properly compensated for your losses and/or injuries, and that the insurance system doesn't take advantage of you. Most of our personal injury cases are completed on a Contingency Fee basis, which means we don't get paid until you get paid.
We know that nobody plans to file for bankruptcy, but sometimes life throws us a curve ball, and that is why the bankruptcy system was implemented. If you are going through a hard time financially, and feel that bankruptcy might be right for you, we can guide you through the process from start to finish with the care and courtesy you need.
